A New Look For Mango’s Barcelona Flagship
The Mango store on Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia has reopened following a EUR 1.8m makeover which sees the branch following the template launched at the Dusseldorf outpost earlier this year.
And the feature that will probably go unnoticed by shoppers, but which is integral to the 1,500 sq m store design is the neutrality of the interior, allowing the merchandise to have its best shot at being noticed. For the most part, this is thanks to the use, throughout the store, of wood as the core decorative material, whether it’s on the ceiling, around the perimeter or in the mid-shop.
Also worth noting are the fitting rooms, which have been enlarged, helping to contribute to the sense both of space and leisure that are a feature of this store.
While this is a flagship for Mango, the design that has been implemented is part of a substantial investment by the Spanish fashion merchant in upgrading its premium stores around the world.
