Casa Loewe Makes its New Bond Street Debut

Loewe, the LVMH-owned Spanish luxury brand, has relocated from London’s chichi Mount Street to the opulent surroundings of New Bond Street, where it can count Luis Vuitton, Cartier, Chanel and Asprey among its many well-heeled neighbors. The reason for the move is simple, it was under spaced in Mount Street, which led to a concentration principally on accessories. The new store boasts three floors and now provides sufficient space for accessories and the whole of the ready-to-wear offer to be given floor space.

There is also, as tends to be the case in the stores of several of its rivals in the vicinity, a first-floor gallery that will be home to changing installations from the brand’s art collection. This area will also double up as a part of the store that can play host to pop-up capsule collections.

Within the store, merchandising is predictably sparse, while the store’s long glazed frontage should ensure that if nothing else it is not missed by the wealthy shoppers who head to this part of ritzy Mayfair.
