Mamas & Papas Debuts new Format in Glasgow

Mamas and Papas, the UK retailer that targets parents and parents-in-waiting with hardware, homeware, clothing, and gifts, has opened a new store in Glasgow.

Designed by creative agency Dalziel & Pow, the 5,000 sq. ft. store is located at The Fort shopping center. The format for the space takes after the retailer’s award-winning design at Westfield London, opened in White City last year.

Navigation is zoned into three “worlds” and includes merchandise for baby, fashion, home, service, gifting, and travel. There is also a new maternity ‘athleisure’ range and skincare products as part of the extensive offer.

A mini marketplace close to the till area showcases gifts, cards, and beauty to customers. There are also feeding, changing and chill-out areas in the store and parts of the store have a flexible layout that can be cleared to make space for live events and talks.

A Mini saloon car is also found on the shopfloor close to the carseats so that parents can get firsthand experience of fitting a seat into an auto before committing to making a purchase.
