Milan Gets First Italian Supreme
Opened yesterday, the 13th store from skate and streetwear brand Supreme is also its first in Italy. Located on Milan’s Corso Garibaldi, this one is in a plain, modern building and its floor-to-ceiling windows ensure that anyone passing will not be able to miss the quirky sculptures by Mark Gonzales or the artwork by Nate Lowman.
The rest of this whitewashed, minimalist interior is lifted both by the stock itself and a black service counter backed by a wall of prints with two lines of skateboards.
This is actually the first store from the US brand to open since the San Francisco branch welcomed shoppers in October 2019. It will be interesting to see how it works in Italy. It should not be forgotten that this is the brand that featured regular merchandise ‘drops’ which had customers queuing round the block for the chance to get their hands on limited edition merchandise.
Supreme was always a cult, in-the-know brand and its prices reflect this. It is owned by VF Corporation.
