Last month, lifestyle audio brand Skullcandy, launched a new retail experience in their Park City Headquarters in Utah. The space offers a one-of-a-kind audio experience, where visitors are invited to demo the brand’s latest audio innovations.
The urban interior is designed in collaboration with creative studio Checkland Kindleysides, with the product displays made from the same wood used in skate ramps. The flagship also features a product demo bar and a service counter where customers can have their headphones repaired free of charge.
The 50m2 flagship store also operates under Skullcandy’s BORN IN PC program. In effect since 2015, BORN IN PC takes a portion of profits from every locally-sold products and invests it back into Park City non-profit programs.
This store design certainly fits the mantra of the brand: “We don’t want you to just listen to music. We want you to feel it.”
